Once all lifts are completed, print the Result
Reports by choosing the
Power Meet,
Single Lift,
Best Lifter, and
Team Results options through option
'9. Produce Reports' from the Event menu. Lifts may be printed as entered, converted from pounds (lbs)
to kilograms (kilos), or converted from kilograms (kilos) to pounds (lbs).
To accomplish this task, go to the Utilities menu and check the desired option.
Printing as entered is the default. Also, the heading of each report will include the
event title and date that you supply through the
Event Information option.
The Power Meet reports offer 'Squat, Bench, Deadlift', 'Curl, Bench, Deadlift', and "Bench, Deadlift" in
two verisons: all lifts (attempts) or best lift (attempt).
The Single Lift reports offer 'Squat', 'Bench', 'Deadlift', and 'Curl' of which
all lifts (attempts) will be presented.
Only those divisions that have been identified for "Standard Reporting" will appear on these report.
For those Push/Pull events, assign competitors to "Power Meet" divisions.
Tab delimited file extracts of your Power Meet and Single Lift results can also be produced
for use in other software such as a spreadsheet.
The best lifter is identified by selecting Best Lifter through option '9. Produce Reports' which
displays the
Best Lifter form.
You have the option of determining the best lifter from four different formulas:
Schwartz/Malone, Reshel, Wilks, and NASA.
For the Reshel formula which uses the kilo system,
select the Reshel radio button and specify a weight class range, such as 44.25 to 88.5.
For the Schwartz/Malone, Wilks, and NASA formulas which uses pounds, select the Schwartz/Malone, Wilks, or NASA
radio button and specify a weight class range, such as 97.5 to 165
(a drop down list is available to aid in your selection). Continue by selecting
the gender, Male or Female (again, a drop down list is available), and press the Process button.
The
Best Lifter report
appears that lists all necessary information to present the best lifter award.
If you do not wish to determine best lifter by a weight class range, you also have the option of
determining it by a division or [All] divisions on one report. The report will only apply the masters age coefficients for
divisions indicated as "Masters", so if a master competitor is also competing in an open division, for example,
the masters age coefficient will not be applied.
The Best Lifter report may be produced for single lifts (Curl, Squat, Bench, and Deadlift), sub-totals
(Squat and Bench) or (Curl and Bench), Push/Pull, Power Sports (Curl/Bench/Deadlift), and Power Meet (Squat/Bench/Deadlift).
You can also narrow down the reports by Power Meet or Single Lift competitors if you choose to produce by single lift.
In addition to these
formulas which offer coefficients based on body weight, age coefficients are also applied in
determining the best lifter. Select the "Apply Age Coefficients" check box to enable this feature.
To review these formula coefficients, select the desired listing
from the Best Lifter Formula Coefficients sub-menu.
The Team Results report is provided to help present awards to the top competing
powerlifting teams, and can be processed by selecting Team Results from the Reports
menu. This will immediately process the results,
which consumes a few seconds depending on your computer, and displays the
Team Results Report.
To rank the teams,
the performance of each team member is assigned a number based on their place in
their respective weight class and divisions: 4 points for 1st,
3 points for 2nd, 2 points for 3rd, and 1 point for 4th.
